Aides in U.S. Hiring Scandal Won't Be Prosecuted, AG Mukasey Says

We reported previously (and here) on the partisanship employed in the selection of immigration judges.  Sounds like it will be business as usual.  "The U.S. Justice Department won't prosecute former officials who discriminated against jobseekers based on their political leanings and will encourage applicants who weren't hired to reapply, Attorney General Michael Mukasey said." Bloomberg, Aug. 12, 2008.
