Interesting New Book

Check out "Stepping Out of the Brain Drain: Applying Catholic Social Teaching in a New Era of Migration" by Michele Pistone (a law professor at Villanova here) and John J. Hoeffner, Esq.  Michael A. Scaperlanda (Oklahoma) wrote the foreword.  Pistone and Hoeffnere have an immigration blog Step Out Migration (here).  At various times, the Catholic Church has taken the leadership role on immigrant's rights.  This book helps explain some of the Catholic social teachings that have contributed to the Church's prominent role on immigration.
