Saying Thanks to Immigrants on Memorial Day
On this wonderful Memorial Day, let's not forget the immigrants -- documented of not -- who sacrificed the ultimate for THEIR adopted country. Click here for the Washington Post's memorial (here) to these Americans.

As the trackback did not work, sir, here is my comment:
America! Immigration versus Assimilation
Yes, freedom! But not blatant disregard for laws.

America! Immigration versus Assimilation
Yes, freedom! But not in the face of a blatant disregard for a Nation's laws.

Let's not. Let's thanks to those legal immigrants who've respected our laws and waited so long in line. By their cheating and disrespect to the citizens, the illegal aliens have cost much in the way of our national treasure by forcing us to build a fence and institute a massave increase in our Border Patrol. Our laws do not recognize them as immigrants, but as unlawfull entrants who have less legal standing than temporary visitors that are valid visa holders. Any celebration of illegal alien presence amounts to contempt for the will of the citizen.
Let's also give thanks to the citzens who've generously opened their borders to the extent that millions of foreign nationals have been permitted to join them in U.S. citizenship in the past and in years to come. Without the immigration laws that their congress enacted to permit legal and orderly procedures for citizenship, immigration would not continue.
