Death on the Border: Not Really "News" but a Continuing Saga

The November 2006 Issue of the Texas Monthly has an article entitled "The Desert of the Dead" by Pamela Coloff reports that undocumented immigrants are dying in record numbers along a desolate stretch of south Texas scrubland. For the ranchers and border patrol agents who find them, it’s a nightmare without end.  Click here for the story.

If they had been killed crossing the freeway someone would complain that the it was the National Transporation Safety Board's bad auto traffic policies. Once again, if it is the responsibility of any government, Mexico bares the entire blame, for it's their responsibility to provide a viable economy for Mexican nationals.
