The magazine Asians in Media reports that London rapper M.I.A. has been denied a visa to visit or work in the USA by immigration officials. Sources close to the British Sri-Lankan MC said that her lawyers are frantically trying to resolve the situation. Bear in mind that the reason for her exclusion is not yet known -- it might not be because she's a supposed "danger." She did have trouble getting a visa before doing her US tour last year, and while she did have to cancel some of her shows, that ultimately did get cleared up and she did resume her tour.
