My father who was the Medical Doctor in Easter Island for almost 2 years with our family (i Was 12 yrs old) wrote a wonderful book about our experiences and made observations related to the excess environmental use of resources. I just translated this book into English and is being published by authorhouse.
See and find a briefing of the book under family, history, or travel categories
A very unique narrative when contact with the island was limited to one ship annually and great observatio from someone that experience the island from inside for almost two years
