Woislaw on Parole Searches and Third Parties

This paper analyzes the reasoning and impact of the California Supreme Court's ruling in People v. Schmitz, which expanded the parole search exception to the Fourth Amendment's Warrant Clause such that it catches within its sweep the privacy interests of third persons whose liberties are not otherwise restricted.
