OFT Discussion Paper on Private Rights of Action

Britain's Office of Fair Traiding (OFT) recently published a discussion paper and announced informal consultation on increasing the use of private rights of action. This of course means a long term pay day for antitrust lawyers and economics. There may also be important public policy reasons to encourage antitrust private rights of actions.
