Director of Bar Exam Preparation at Cleveland Marshall

Cleveland Marshall College of Law seeks applicants for the position of Director, Bar Exam Preparation.  The Director, Bar Exam Preparation is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing plans and initiatives that support the College of Law’s goal of improving graduates’ bar passage rates and performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school and admission to the practice of law. 
Four (4) years of experience working in a higher education setting in the areas of bar preparation, teaching, academic assistance, academic advising, or similar administrative, teaching or practice experience.
Experience in program planning, implementation, and assessment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with programs and services designed to improve bar passage performance of law graduates. 
Experience with relevant technology.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Possess the ability to effectively plan and coordinate, establish and maintain effective working relationships and prioritize workloads based on available resources.
Detailed oriented and capable of managing large amounts of data, maintain detailed comprehensive records, analyze and organize information, have effective project and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint.
