2nd Annual Midwestern Consortium on Academic Support and Bar Programs Conference

What: 2nd Annual Midwestern Consortium on Academic Support and Bar Programs Conference.

When: March 13,2020

Where: Chicago

In October of 2018 I hosted the 1st Annual Midwestern Consortium on Academic Support and Bar Programs Conference at Loyola University Chicago School of Law.  It was a great way to get to know the other academic support and bar professionals in the region, and share ideas in a somewhat informal setting. I'm pleased to announce that on March 13th there will be a  2nd Annual Midwestern Consortium on Academic Support and Bar Programs Conference. The location is Chicago-Kent College of Law in downtown Chicago. The theme is Making New Connections: Expanding the Scope of Academic Support and Bar Exam Prep Through Online Learning. Together with our discussion leaders, we will explore online tools for our work, including:

  • The challenges & opportunities presented by online learning
  • The collaborative & community-building potential of online learning
  • The use and potential online learning to support diversity
  • Engagement pros, cons & how-tos for online learning
  • Online strategies specific to online learning & bar prep
