It is absolutely absurd to put white collar criminals in jail for more than 10 years.
You cannot do simple sentences of only - 2 or 3 years; as it is common sense that who wouldn't take the risk to make millions and pay for it with 24 months.
But to burden the public with the cost of 10, 20 or 100 years (the OKUN case) - is absolutely absurd.
Ban them from holding public office or public company (as SarOx desired to do) - probate them (and make them pay) - but having everyone foot the $30k to $50k bill for decades is ABSURD!
