Bribery Investigation Doesn't Hurt Election Result
Despite a bribery investigation, Representative William Jefferson was re-elected in Saturday's runoff election. According to AP here, the government investigation may have aided Jefferson -- with voters very determined to protect their Louisiana Representative.
