Welcome to Thomas Rutledge, New Contributing Editor

     posted by Gary Rosin

The UB blog is pleased to welcome Tom Rutledge as its second outside-the-box UB Contributing Editor.  Tom has been sending items to the UB blog for a couple of years, and its time for him to speak for himself.  While Tom is a some-time adjunct at the University of Kentucky law school, he is best know for his work on LLCs with the ABA and the Kentucky Bar.  He has written numerous law review articles and book chapters on LLCs, and is a member of the ALI.  He combines a practitioner's experience with academic insights into our evolving business entities.

Oklahoma . . . Is On My Mind

UPDATED AND MOVED TO THE TOP

My wife and I have moved to Tulsa, as I begin a tenure-track appointment at the University of Tulsa College of Law tomorrow. I have been blogging now for just over four months, and I would like to thank my readership - whether law faculty, practitioners, or students.

As I prepare for the 2006-2007 school year, I would like to invite you to contact me here (i) to make any suggestions for improvements to the blog; (ii) to contribute an occassional post about unincorporated businesses; (iii) to inform me of any scholarship that you have written about unincorporated businesses so I may post the abstract and link to the paper; and (iv) to let me know if you are teaching course(s) in agency, partnerships, and LLCs (even if for the first time) at a new school so I can feature your profile on the blog.

You are also always welcome to post comments in response to any post (although it takes me a day or so to enable them). And I am always looking for more contributing editors, so if you are interested in posting to the blog once a week or more, please let me know.
