Though he has since passed from this world, Prince’s former home still bears the mark of his unique style and character. The home, valued now at $13,186,500, has seen a tremendous increase in price from $9.5 million just two years ago. The compound-like residence boasts over 14,500 square feet of space and housed the famous singer from 2001 to 2006. Visitors are reminded of Prince’s presence via a purple-carpeted basement, stamps on dining-room doors, and an iron-type desk where he wrote and read. The original seller took the house off the market after Prince’s death to avoid the appearance of attempting profiting off the singer’s demise. The house now sits poised for a buyer; for a Prince-worthy price.
