Not only does banned Clippers owner Donald Sterling intend to sue Shelly Sterling, Adam Silver, Steve Ballmer, and the NBA, but he will also sue the doctors and UCLA Health System for disclosing his medical information.
Doctors conducted exams on Donald Sterling that were then used to oust him as a trustee, successively allowing his wife, Shelly, to sell the Clippers to Ballmer for $2 billion. The distribution of those results was the key part of Donald Sterling’s defense, although it was shot down in probate court.
In a letter addressed to Mr. Sterling on August 4th, chief privacy officer for UCLA Health System, Robert Gross, acknowledged that the results of Sterling’s mental evaluation were disclosed.
