The top five countries where people live the longest are:

1. Switzerland: 82.8 years

2. Italy: 82.7 years

3. Japan: 82.7 years

4. Iceland: 82.4 years

5. Spain: 82.4 years

The United States ranked 26th with an average life expectancy of 78.7 years.
