Tips for LLC Formation Engagement Letters

LLC-580x256

Estate planners that want to branch out into LLC formation practice may not realize there are some key issues they should address in an LLC formation engagement letter.  Here are just a few of them:

  • Always specify which members are your clients and which are not.
  • Inform your fees by specifying the level of service you will be providing.
  • Specifically identify the miscellaneous issues you will be handling and those you will not be handling.
  • Specify the dates and deadlines inherent in the process.  This may even be required of you.
