Benjamin Fok Loses Bid to Remove Brother, Aunt as Executors

As I have previously discussed, Benjamin Fok Chun-yue, the son of late tycoon Henry Fok, was attempting to remove his brother, Ian Fok Chun-wan, and his aunt, Fok Mo-kan, as executors of his father’s estate.

A judge recently ruled against Benjamin, finding that a settlement agreement reached in August 2012 is legally binding on the 31 family members of Henry Fok.

See Austin Chiu, Benjamin Fok Loses Bid to Oust Brother, Aunt in Charge of Multibillionaire Father's Estate, South China Morning Post, Jan. 3, 2014.

Special thanks to Brian Cohan (Attorney at Law, Law Offices of Brian J. Cohan, P.C.) for bringing this article to my attention.
