When to Update Your Estate Plan

Penpaper

If you already have an estate plan in place, you may need to update it from time to time.  Here are 6 such times when you should consider an update:

  1. Changes in marital status
  2. Changes in the number of beneficiaries
  3. Changes in the status of beneficiaries
  4. Substantial changes in net worth
  5. Changes in fiduciaries
  6. Moving to another state
