As I have previously discussed, Barbara Mancini has been accused of assisted suicide by giving her terminally ill father a bottle of his legally prescribed morphine.
A Pennsylvania judge has decided to defer a decision about whether to dismiss the case, saying she will issue an order to determine whether she needs additional information before ruling.
Mancini’s attorney is urging the judge to toss the case while the prosecutor says the evidence shows Mancini knew her father wanted to die when she gave him the morphine.
