Sound Revolutionary, Ray Dolby Dies

Ray dolbyRecently, billionaire Ray Dolby died at age 80 from acute leukemia and Alzheimer's Disease. He founded Dolby Laboratories in 1965. Last year the company's profits were more than $900 million dollars. During his lifetime, Dolby donated over $35 million in support of stem cell research. A revolutionary in the sound industry, Dolby died with a $2.4 billion dollar estate. Dagmar, Dolby's wife of 47 years, is now the heir to his fortune.
