Auction House Files Suit Against Penthouse Owner’s Estate

Guccione Collections LLC, a company that sells erotic photos by former Penthouse magazine owner Bob Guccione, has filed a lawsuit against Guccione’s estate, seeking a judge’s order that future sales of artwork does not infringe on the Guccione estate’s intellectual property rights.

The company claims the estate has wrongfully attempted to block future sales of the works on their website and various auctions.  The man behind Guccione Collections, Wall Street financier Jeremy Frommer, was sent a letter by Guccione’s estate demanding he quit selling and reproducing the works.
