Kidnapper Names Victim’s Grandmother as Life Insurance Beneficiary

Penpaper2

James Lee DiMaggio died on August 10 in an FBI shootout in the Idaho wilderness after kidnapping 16-year-old Hannah Anderson and killing her mother and brother.

DiMaggio named Hannah’s grandmother, Bernice Anderson, as the sole beneficiary of a $112,000 life insurance policy, supposedly for the benefit of Hannah.

DiMaggio, 40, had been best friends with Hannah’s father and had even lived with Bernice for about two years.  Authorities found the remains of Hanna’s mother and younger brother in their burned down home.
