Assisted Living Industry Rattled by Investigation

In response to the PBS Frontline episode examining the assisted living industry, the country’s largest assisted living company crafted a detailed strategy memo, which it sent to the heads of other major assisted living chains.

The memo from Emeritus Senior Living asked the other assisted living companies to put up a “united front” and help “to offset the potential negative backlash created” by Frontline’s investigation.  As part of its response plan, Emeritus is requesting its employees, who work at around 500 facilities, to post comments on Yelp, Caring.com, Google, and Frontline’s website and Facebook page.

Thanks for sharing, my sister and I have been looking for an assisted living center that we can take our mother to. We've been looking at centers that are close by so we can go and visit her as much as we can. My sister found http://www.weatherlyinn.com and they look like a very well put together establishment. And as we're still thinking of a place to take her to. We wanted to get a second opinion on them and see what your thoughts were.
