The William Davidson Foundation Dispute Continues, Appeal to Split Foundation Filed

DetroitAs I have previously discussed, the legal battle between the William Davidson's widow and son versus Jonathan Aaron, co-executor of Davidson's estate and president of the William Davidson foundation, and wife Mary continues. The original action was filed in Oakland County Probate Court. Aaron is seeking to split the William Davidson Foundation between the four board members due to a purported impasse that is preventing the foundation from functioning. However, the suit was dismissed because the court lacked subject matter jurisdiction. Aaron has now filed an appeal that has been designated to Circuit Judge Martha Anderson. The court dates have not been set.
