Lawyer Wants to Withdraw Guilty Plea of Illegally Obtaining Money From Terminally Ill Patients

Unknown-2I previously blogged about how Joseph Caramadre pleaded guilty to illegally obtaining millions of dollars by using the identities of terminally ill patients.  Now, Joseph wants to change his plea, claiming that he was under duress at the time. On Thursday, Joseph's attorney filed a motion to withdraw the mid-trial plea. His lawyer argues that Joseph only pleaded guilty because his wife was suffering from severe depression and was under pressure from his previous attorneys.
