Honest Homeless Man Returns Woman's Engagement Ring
Sarah Darling was emptying the contents of her purse into homeless man, Billy Ray Harris's cup, and she accidentally dropped her engagement ring in along with the money. Her ring was at the bottom of her purse because she had taken it off earlier when it was irritating her finger.
Ms. Darling went back to Harris the next day, telling him she may have left something valuable with him. Harris asked if it was a ring and returned the ring to her. In honor of Harris's honest act, Mr. Darling set up a website explaining what Harris did and asking for donations. As of Monday morning, the site has raised almost $150,000 and that money is going directly to Harris.
