Four Ways to Avoid State Death Taxes
State estate and inheritance taxes can come as a surprise to many because they're focused on the federal changes that exempt most people from the federal estate tax. But 21 states and the District of Columbia have 2013 estate and/or inheritance taxes. Forbes offers four ways to avoid state tax:
