Lanza's Mother Probate Documents Filed

Estate DisputeThe probate records for Nancy Lanza, the Sandy Hook Elementary shooter's mother, have been filed in court. The estate has not been valued at this moment. Her surviving son, Ryan Lanza, petitioned the court to have Samuel Starks temporally appointed as the administrator of his late-mother's estate. Now, the administrator will have the task of tracking Nancy's assets and determining if she owned a will. Her death certificate was also filed with her other estate planning documents. She was cremated on December 19, 2012 in Haverhill, Massachusetts. Adam Lanza's document have not been filed.

See Dave Altimari, Nancy Lanza's Probate Records Filed, Hartford Courant, Jan. 14, 2013.

In this article: http://www.ctpost.com/local/article/Lawyer-appointed-to-find-Nancy-Lanza-s-will-4197004.php#ixzz2Jgp1aRaL It mentions that Ryan Lanza was the only listed heir in other documents filed by another attorney (Starks). As you can see, the reporter is a bit sketchy on details. Is there a way to find out if those filings are pre or post shooting, or what they are pertaining to? Thanks for your input in advance!

The above lawyers should be Stephen Keogh, of Keogh, Burkhart & Vetter in Norwalk. They were the ones who apparently filed other documents indicating Ryan Lanza was the only heir. Sorry for the confusion.
