Soul Train Creator

Don corneliusDon Cornelius, the creator of the show  Soul Train, died of an apparent suicide this week. Cornelius left behind two life insurance policies worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

The proceeds from both policies will go to Cornelius’ ex-wife, Viktoria Chapman-Cornelius, whom Cornelius divorced three years ago after a lengthy legal battle. During the bitter legal battle, both sides alleged domestic abuse.

The suicide exclusion is 2 years. If those policies were in force for two year or more, then the death benefit will be paid out.
