New York and Same-Sex Marriages -- An Update
Earlier on this blog, I reported that New York governor David A. Paterson directed all state agencies to begin to revise their policies and regulations to recognize same-sex marriages performed in other jurisdictions.
The Alliance Defense Fund, an Arizona Christian legal group, has recently filed suit in the Bronx to stop New York from recognizing these same-sex unions.
