Luciano Pavarotti Update
Earlier on this blog, I discussed the wills of opera legend Luciano Pavarotti who died on September 6, 2007 at the age of 71.
The following recent developments were reported in Reuters, Pavarotti was not coerced into signing will: manager, Yahoo! News, Oct. 25, 2007:
- Pavarotti's manager (Terri Robson) claims Pavarotti knew what he was doing when he left his United States assets to his second wife.
- A notary who was present when this will was signed claims that Pavarotti wanted to make changes to the will but that his lawyers prevented him from so doing.
- An Italian magistrate is investigating and could initiate a probe.
Special thanks to Rickie Cayton (J.D. Candidate, Texas Tech University School of Law) for bringing this article to my attention.
