Assisted Suicide in Oregon -- Why do People Request it?

Here are the reasons for the years 1998-2005 along with the number of people citing that reason:
- Fear of losing autonomy (207)
- Fear of decreasing ability to do enjoyable activities (206)
- Fear of losing control of bodily functions (138)
- Fear of loss of dignity (94)
- Fear of being a burden (90)
- Inadequate pain control or concern about (54)
- Financial implications (7)
