Interesting Book Review

The University of Chicago Law Review published a review of Judging under Uncertainty: An Institutional Theory of Legal Interpretation by Adrian Vermeule. Haven't read the book, but the review is nicely done and is on line here.

Supremes Issue Decision in Ledbetter

This is the pay discrimination case under Title VII. You can read the opinion here and an article, here.

The opinioin's an interesting read, if you back up and think about judicial philosophy. From a pragmatic level, the dissent's exactly right, but from a logical-textual-legalistic level, the majority's right.

It may be another Flood v. Kuhn! :-)
