The Year in Review
Here are some tid bits for what's happened so far this year. I've got several interesting cases to get to, but a pile of barking Property exams is between them and me...
The Democrats took Control of the House and Senate. The Washington post's coverage is here (free registration required).
California: Ronald Reagan 1, Thomas Starr King 0. Each state gets to put up two statues in the Capitol. California's changed, with controversy you can read here.
Strict Voter ID Law Upheld by Split Seventh Circuit. Indiana's law, deemed the most strict in the country, requiring photo ID for voters was upheld in a 2-1 Seventh Circuit decision. There's an article here and, hopefully, the opinion itself on the Seventh Circuit's site, which wasn't running this morning.
Rehnquist's Drug Addiction Made Headlines. There's a good piece here on slate.com that captures the key parts.
Things will get back to normal soon.
