The Pioneer Statutory Law Blawg

I'm just getting started, and am slowly looking around at resources, and so on. Many of you reading this have contacted me with information that, eventually, will get rolled into the site (a list of links, and so on, is soon to come).

The original blawg on this topic remains quite a resource. Gary O'Connor gave me a superb model of what a blawg can be.

I concur. Ever since Rick Hasen started his mailing list - if you do not subscribe, dear reader, you should - I have been interested in finding someone to carry on Gary O'Connor's work. His weblog was enough of a "brand", and the issue is important enough, that it could have and should have been picked up by someone else, perhaps a group, rather than simply being abandoned. All of my efforts to reach Gary this summer to discuss this idea, however, were unavailing.

I am glad to see that Prof. Hricik has begun this effort, although his name will be much harder than Gary's for this Irishman to pronounce.

Gary contacted me after he saw this go up, and wished me well.

I've only been at this a month, and must say that I'm amazed at his blog, in terms of depth and duration.

If anyone ever has something to post, please let me know and I'll gladly let you "guest blog." Or, if you just want to send something to me for me to ponder or post, that's cool to. The link is over to your left.
