SEC Issues Third Report on Implementing Organizational Reform Recommendations
Yesterday the SEC posted on its website the Third Report on the Implementation of SEC Organizational Reform Recommendations as required by section 967 of Dodd-Frank, which directed the SEC to engage an independent consultant to conduct a broad and independent assessment of the agency's internal operations, structure, funding and the agency's relationships with SROs. The consultant issued its report in March 2011; this is the third of four agency reports on the implementation of the consultant's recommendations.
