Former SAC Analyst Pleads Guilty in Insider Trading
Jon Horvath, a former analyst at SAC Capital, pleaded guilty to insider trading and agreed to cooperate with prosecutors in an investigation of an alleged $62 million insider trading scheme. Horvath stated that he obtained non-public information about Dell earnings in August 2008 and about Nvidia Corp. in May 2009 that he shared with his portfolio manager, who executed trades based on the information.
