Former SAC Analyst Pleads Guilty in Insider Trading

Jon Horvath, a former analyst at SAC Capital, pleaded guilty to insider trading and agreed to cooperate with prosecutors in an investigation of an alleged $62 million insider trading scheme.  Horvath stated that he obtained non-public information about Dell earnings in August 2008 and about Nvidia Corp. in May 2009 that he shared with his portfolio manager, who executed trades based on the information.  NYTimes, Ex-Analyst at Unit of Cohen's SAC Capital Admits Insider Trading
