Research Analyst in Expert Networks Investigation Pleads Guilty
John Kinnucan, a key figure in the government's investigation into "experts network" insider trading, pleaded guilty yesterday to charges of securities fraud and conspiracy to commit securities fraud. Kinnucan, owner of Broadband Research, an investment research firm, admitted that he persuaded employees of public companies to provide him with inside information which he then sold to hedge funds and money managers.
