Senate Committee Holds Hearing on SEC and Stanford
The Senate Banking Committee held a hearing today on Oversight of the SEC Inspector General’s Report on the ‘Investigation of the SEC’s Response to Concerns Regarding Robert Allen Stanford’s Alleged Ponzi Scheme’ and Improving SEC Performance. Witnesses included H. David Kotz, Esq., Inspector General, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission; Robert Khuzami, Esq., Director, Division of Enforcement, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.; and Rose Romero, the Regional Director of the SEC's Forth Worth office.
