SEC Delays Effective Date of Rule 151A
In a court filing, the SEC stated that it would delay the effective date of Rule 151A, which makes indexed annuities securities, for two years. The D.C. Circuit had previously upheld the SEC's legal analysis but remanded the Rule for consideration of the economic impact, which the court found deficient. InvNews, Indexed annuities as securities?
