Mary Schapiro Expected to be Named SEC Chair
The Wall St. Journal reports that President-Elect Obama will appoint Mary Schapiro as Chair of the SEC. Ms. Schapiro is currently CEO of FINRA; she has previously served on both the SEC and CFTC -- useful if consideration will be given to merging the two agencies.
