Bershad Sentenced to Six Months in Prison
David Bershad, a former partner in the Milberg Weiss law firm, was sentenced to six months in prison (double what the government recommended) for his role in the firm's payment of kickbacks to clients to serve as named plaintiffs in securities suits.
