Federal officials unsealed two indictments of Broadcom co-founder Henry T. Nicholas III. One relates to securities fraud violations in connection with the company's backdating options scandal. The other indictment charges Nicholas with conspiracy to distribute and acquire controlled substances, including ecstasy, cocaine and methamphetamine, which he allegedly used to spike the drinks of employees and customers.
