Parmalat Suit Against Citigroup Set for Trial in New Jersey
The trial in New Jersey state court brought by Parmalat against Citigroup for allegedly assisting former Parmalat management in committing financial fraud will begin next month. Citigroup sought to dismiss the case on a number of grounds, including that New Jersey was not an appropriate forum and on the basis of Stoneridge Investors.
