SEC's Inspector General Tells Congress of Reforms
David Kotz, the SEC's new Inspector General, announced reforms to improve the agency's investigations in a letter to Senate Finance Committee ranking member Charles Grassley. The letter is apparently a response to Congressional criticism of the SEC's handling of an insider trading investigation that led to the dismissal of SEC attorney Gary Aguirre.
