Verizon Announces "Say on Pay" in 2009
Verizon Communications announced that it would allow its shareholders an advisory vote on executive compensation, but not until the annual meeting in 2009. Last May a majority of Verizon shareholders voted in favor of a "say on pay" proposal, as have shareholders at a number of companies recently.
