Activision Reports SEC Investigation into Backdating
Activision reported in its 10-Q that the SEC has begun a formal investigation into the company's stock option grant practices. Earlier this year the company reported that a special committee found instances of backdating from 1994 through 2006 and that four unnamed individuals -- including former heads of legal, finance, and human resources and an outside legal advisor -- were implicated.
