Starwood CEO Forced Out Because of Improper Conduct
Steven J. Heyer was forced out as CEO of Starwood Hotels last week and forfeited $35 million in severance pay. The WSJ reports that the board forced him out after an anonymous letter accused him of inappropriate conduct. Heyer came to Starwoods from Coke with a reputation for a difficulty personality.
