Auction for Tribune Co. Nearing End
The board of Tribune Co. is scheduled to meet this week to consider offers to buy the company, which put itself on the auction block last fall. Two bidders have criticized the process, saying that Sam Zell, whose offer is currently the favorite, got an unfair advantage by receiving more detailed information to assist him in structuring his proposal.
